Caught My Personal Best Record Longnose Gar 26 LB - 3 OZ!!!
It took me 12 years to do it but as said when I texted Debbie after catching this monster Longnose Gar "I whooped yo ass"!!! On July 28th 2008 Debbie caught a 23 LB - 6 OZ Longnose Gar, our biggest Gar we have ever caught in many years of fishing for Longnose Gar on West Point Lake. The biggest Gar ever in my boat!!! Everytime I come home from Gar Fishing and I say "Caught a big one today!" she always comes back with "Not as big as mine!" After yesterday I'll never have to hear that again! She didn't take it well at first texting "Don't see a photo can't fool me" and I texted back "How bout video of me weighing it lol". She texted "I need to weigh scales to be sure". Then when I got home with the photo she submitted to my victory! She then said "Took you long enough" I guess I'll have to hear that everytime I mention my 26 LB - 5 OZ Gar now. "Took you long enough" Took you long enough". I can't win can I?
